Board of Education Continues to Seek Input on Bond Issue
The PLSD Board of Education continues to review the proposed project list and prioritize projects for a potential Bond issue. Input from parents, staff and community is critical to ensure that the best possible proposal is brought forward, if the Board decided to pursue a bond issue in November. Please take a few minutes to review the information provided regarding the potential bond issue and share your feedback. In June, a telephone survey will be conducted to gather additional information for the Board of Education we they can finalize the list of projects.

PLSHS student body is requesting Denzel Washington to come visit their school for their decade celebration. La Vista West Students Pop Up and Care for Nebraska Humane Society
Fifth grade students at La Vista West will be popping popcorn and selling it to fellow students and staff on Thursday, May 17 for their Pop Up and Care Campaign. From 10-11 a.m., the students will pop popcorn and sell it to students and staff at a $1 donation to help raise money for the Nebraska Humane Society.
