Welcome to Papillion-La Vista School District Health Services
The PLSD Health Services Program contributes to the educational success of each student by promoting a safe and healthy environment for learning. This is accomplished by:
- Health screening
- First Aid and medication administration
- Immunization monitoring
- Communicable disease control
- Responding to medical emergencies
- Health education
- Management of chronic health conditions
The staff of the Papillion-La Vista health services program includes registered nurses and unlicensed health paraprofessionals. Each school building has designated personnel who are responsible for first aid, emergency response, medication administration, and minor illness care. The registered school nurse supervises the health program in assigned buildings. Papillion-La Vista health services are under the supervision of Student Services Director Dr. Brad Conner and the school principal(s).
Each year parents are required to fill out Emergency Cards in order for their child to attend a Papillion-La Vista School. Please fill out the form, print it and send it with your child to school. To print the emergency card form, please click here.
