Registration Information

State law requires that parents enrolling their child for the first time in the Papillion-La Vista School District must provide either of the following:
1) A certified copy of the student’s birth certificate within 30 days of enrollment.
2) Other reliable proof of the student’s identity and age, which must be accompanied by an affidavit explaining the inability to produce a copy of the birth certificate.


Residency Requirements
All students new to the school district must provide proof of residency within the state of Nebraska prior to enrollment. One of the following documents should be provided to the building secretary when the child enrolls.

   - A current utility bill of a NE residence

   - A lease/rental agreement of a residence in NE

   - A purchase agreement of a residence in NE

   - A contract to build a residence in NE


Enrolling a Child in the PLSD

Parents who are enrolling their child(ren) into the Papillion-La Vista School District will need to complete an enrollment form. This includes students who are brand new to the District, or who have previously attended a PLSD School and are now re-enrolling in PLSD.  Students currently enrolled in a PLSD school do not need to fill out this form each year.
