Outdoor Classroom Checklist

What to bring and what not to bring
Attached is a list which will serve as a reminder of articles the student should bring with him/her.  Any equipment should be clearly marked with his/her name for easy identification.

In order to keep lost items at the minimum, we request that these items be left at home since they are not needed or allowed on the trip:

Watches
Cell Phones
Rings
Hunting Knives
Money
Walkman
Radio/CD Player/MP3 Players
Candy, gum or any food
Game boys or other hand-held games
Whistles

If for any reason it is necessary for your child to be given medication of any kind, please inform the nurse’s office in writing as to the amount and frequency.  The nurse will not administer medication without your specific directions and the signed “Medication Permit.”

You will also be asked to fill out the following forms:

Your help in prompt completion of these forms so your child is able to attend the Outdoor Classroom Experience is appreciated.  Later an evaluation for will be sent home with the students for parent evaluation of the program.  We ask you to fill it in and return it with your child.

Thank you for your cooperation.
