Papillion-La Vista School District Academy Programs
What are Academies?
· Academies are small learning communities that are an extension, not a replacement, of the student high school experience.
· Students remain connected to their high school, allowing them to enroll in electives, AP courses and extracurricular activities.
· Academies provide an opportunity for students to learn and explore career fields by integrating core academic education in an authentic workplace environment.
· Academies are located within high schools, businesses, or college campuses throughout the Papillion-La Vista community.
· Academies provide students with a jumpstart on post-secondary education & future plans.
· Academies provide additional opportunities for ALL 11th and 12th grade students.
