Papillion-La Vista School District

Content Standards
Nebraska is unique in the way our schools approach student learning and the assessment of that learning. In Nebraska, standards for learning are adopted for each curriculum area.  However, individual school districts have the option of adopting the state standards or writing their own standards.  If districts adopt their own standards, they must be ruled by the Nebraska Department of Education to be more rigorous than the state standards.  The PLSD  has adopted its own rigorous process standards in each content area.
