Welcome back to another year of supporting
Rumsey Station through the Box Tops for Education Program! Box Tops for Education
is a free and easy way to fundraise for Rumsey Station all year long. Last year
we raised over $4,000 for our school. It was our best year ever! For those of
you not familiar with the Box Top Program, General Mills pay us 10¢ for each of the pink coupons that are on
boxes, packages, and lids of various products. The products are from General
Mills, Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Bisquick, Old El Paso, Yoplait, Totinos,
Ziploc, and others. Just follow these easy steps:

Box Tops are picked up approximately once
per month, usually at the end of the month. Our first pick-will be sometime in
September. For each collection, we have a friendly competition among the
classrooms. After the box tops are tallied for the month, each student in the
classroom with the most box tops gets a small prize and the teacher get a $20
gift card to a store of his or her choice. Also, if an individual student
brings in at least 50 box tops (in a baggie or envelope with his or her name on
it), that student also gets a small prize. If you have any questions, please
contact Karen Caverzagie at email@example.com.

Music Clubs Update!
Music Club information papers went out to students on Friday, September 5. If your child did not receive a paper, but would like to join us, just have them swing by the music room for a copy. Due to my stepping in for the Fuel Up to Play 60 conference in KC, I need to change the choir's starting date to Tuesday, October 7. Please do so on your form. Also, don't forget to cut off the bottom portion to return to school once your child has decided to commit to the spring concert and keep the top portion as a reference at home. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Nelson at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
