had a great Box Tops 4 Education collection! We collected a total of
9,108 box tops, which means that we raised $910 for Rumsey Station. Last
year for the month of October, we collected 10,208. Hats off to Mr.
Johnson’s classroom – they had the highest total with 1,216. The highest
monthly classroom collection in Rumsey Station history is 1,504 (Mr. Johnson,
Oct 2012). For his first place win this year, Mr. Johnson will receive a
$20 gift card to the store of his choice and his students will all receive a
prize. Coming in second with another very high total was Mrs. Denos and
her students. They collected 1,001. And third place goes to Ms.
Vaughan with a total of 614. Those classrooms will also receive
prizes. Finally, honorable mention goes to all those classrooms with
collections of 500 or more – Mr. Schuetz, Ms. Christen, Mrs. Hall, Ms. Hunt,
and Mrs. Schwartz. The students in each of those classrooms will receive
prizes as well. Keep it up!
