Welcome to the Patriot Elementary Website!

A Word from Mrs. Scarborough and Mr. Guthmiller
It is hard to believe we are ending the second to the last week of school!  Seems like just a short time ago we were welcoming everyone back for the new school year!  It is always difficult for staff to end the year saying good-bye to their students—as they have truly developed strong connections and relationships with their class and families!  Like parents, we feel PRIDE in all the accomplishments-- big and small—that have been made throughout the year!  Your children are simply the best and we speak for the entire staff in that it has been a real honor and privilege to have worked with your child(ren) this year at Patriot!  Thanks for all your support and trust!

Report cards will be sent home with students on the last half day (May 24) of school, so please look for your child’s report in their Friday folder. (For any families leaving before the end of the year, report cards will come in the US mail to your homes.)  A calendar for next year as well as a supply list for each grade will be included in the envelope, along with any summer items each teacher may choose to send home for parents.

PLSD Changes Elementary Start Time for 2013-14 School Year!
Beginning with the first day of school, August 13, 2013 the start time for all elementary students will be 8:05.  Students arriving after 8:05 will be counted as tardy.  Students will be allowed to enter the school at 8:00 and supervision outside the school will begin at 7:50.  We ask that no children arrive at school prior to 7:50.  A new elementary schedule will be implemented next year throughout the School District.  The new start time is a part of the new schedule.  The goal of the new schedule is to help all teachers find more time to teach their curriculum.
