Building Hours and Supervision
Student are allowed to enter the building after 6:30am.   Students not involved in after school activities need to be picked up and be off school grounds by 3:30pm, as there is no supervision after that time.

Dropping Off and Picking Up Students

Our parking lot is closed from 7:30-8:00am and 2:30-3:30pm.  During these times we restrict traffic to buses, visitors, and handicapped access.  Students may be dropped off or picked up from any nearby location or on Grant Street in front of the school.  Please remind your student to use the overpass when crossing 84th Street.

If a student will not be in school, a parent or guardian must call the school (402-898-0424) to report the absence.  Calls should be made prior to 8:30 am.  If your student has an appointment during the day, it is helpful if you call ahead or have your student bring a note to the front office when they arrive at school.  If your student will be absent two or more days an advance work assignment sheet can be picked up in the front office.

Front Doors Locked During the School Day
Please remember that during the school day, the front doors of all PLSD schools are locked. Anyone wishing to enter the building will have to ring the doorbell and wait for a staff member to let them into the building. By locking the front doors, we are preventing visitors from entering the school without being first identified and appropriately checking in with the front office.

Online Grades
If you have trouble accessing the website you can email the PLSD Helpdesk at or contact the Helpdesk Monday through Friday at 402-537-6299 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please be prepared to give your name, your student’s name, grade, date of birth and home address for verification. Upon successful verification, the Technology Dept. will either: a) email you the username/password to the email address on file with the school, or b) provide you with the username/password over the phone
