Standardized Achievement Tests – These are national standardized tests designed to compare local students to a national sample of students who took the same multiple choice test. However, there are many types of standardized tests. For the past two years the PLSD has given the Terra Nova for 5th and 7th grade students. Students continue to score above the 50th percentile. Elementary students have shown improvement over a two year period.
The above charts indicate the percent of students that are above the 50th percentile.
