PLSD Hosting Informational Bond Issue Meetings

What is All This Talk About a Bond Issue?

On July 30, the Papillion-La Vista School District Board of Education voted to place a $59.6 million bond issue on the November ballot. This bond issue includes a new elementary school, a new junior high, renovations at both junior highs (Papillion Junior High and La Vista Junior High), renovations at four elementary schools ( Golden Hills, Parkview Heights, Tara Heights, and Trumble Park), land acquisition and installation of fiber connections among schools.  Over the next several weeks the District will be hosting several Informational Bond Issue Meetings for parents, staff and community members to attend. All meetings are open to the public so invite your friends and neighbors.
