Bell Elementary Students Learn About Engineering
Recently, Bell Elementary 2nd grade students had engineers from the American Society of Civil Engineers come visit their classrooms and talk about how they became engineers and what they do. As part of the process, the students used gum drops and tooth picks to build structures. The students then waited for the gum drops to hold and tested to see how strong their structure was and if the foundation held up.
