PLSHS Titan Techs Work with Elementary HAL Students

Last week, High Ability Learner (HAL) students in grades 4-6 took part in a technology workshop as part of their Gifted Education Plans. The students worked in four groups alongside Titan Techs, who are PLSHS students interested in technology that assist students and teachers in their building with technology. The Titan Techs facilitated as the elementary students wrote computer code and script for the educational version of the game Minecraft, wrote computer programming code using the MIT program Scratch, built and programmed robots to follow directions using commands and created and edited original movies. This was a great opportunity for the students learning to come to life.
