Rumsey Station Student Chosen as Fuel Up To Play 60 State Ambassador

Body

Rumsey Station 5th grade student Rachel Diehm recently learned that she has been selected as the 2014-15 state ambassador for Nebraska for Fuel Up to Play 60. Rachel has won an all-expenses paid tip to Arlington Texas to participate in the Fuel Up to Play 60 National Summit from July 14-17. During the trip, she will learn tips on how to implement the Fuel Up to Play 60 program at her school as well as receive leadership and program training. Rachel was selected to be a state ambassador because she reached over 25,000 points with Fuel Up to Play 60 and submitted an application and essays on what she would do to promote healthy eating and healthy lifestyles. Rachel’s teacher and Fuel Up to Play 60 advisor for Rumsey Station Joe Pudenz will also attend the conference as part of her ambassador delegation. This is a great opportunity for Rachel to represent her school, district and state at the national level.
