PJH Students Hosts Annual Swing into Fitness Contest

            Papillion Junior High 7th grade students were “swinging into fitness” on Friday, January 31. Throughout the month of January, the students have been learning swing dance moves in their physical education classes. They had the opportunity to show off what they learned during the recent PJH Annual Swing into Fitness Contest. Students in each class put their swing dancing skills to the test to compete and see had the best dance moves. Each of the three classes crowned a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. The winners are:

·         1st Hour Competition

o    1st place:  Amy Wolterman  & Christian Redler

o    2nd place:  Zakkary Bohnert & Teagen Gaul

o    3rd place:  Anna Nesbitt  & Tyler Henningsen

 

·         3rd Hour Competition

o    1st place:  Josh Cryer  & Kristen Rodenhausen

o    2nd place:  Nick Laboure  &  Al  (Alexandria) Warner

o    3rd place:  McKenna Rowe  &  Nathan Caron

 

·         7th Hour Competition

o    1st place:  Chris Delano  &  Jet Schmelzer

o    2nd place:  Melanie Roberts  &  Mitchell Scott

o    3rd place:  Hayden Truax  &  Holly Olson
