PLSD Health Systems Academy Students Compete at State HOSA Contest

Recently students from the Health Systems Academy participated in the State HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) competition in Omaha.  The students that finished in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place have qualified to compete at National in June in Nashville, Tennessee.  The results are:

  • 1st place in Creative Problem Solving
    • Leah Pfeifer, Kellie Phillips, Katie Bober, and Jessica Melcher
  • 1st Place in Extemporaneous Writing
    • Ariel Stillwell
  • 2nd Place in Job Seeking Skills
    • Allison Mikesell
  • 2nd Place in Medical Terminology
    • Leah Pfeifer
  • 3rd Place in Nursing Assisting
    • Mallory Gandy
  • 3rd Place in Extemporaneous Writing
    • Kellie Phillips
