Located just south of Omaha, the PLSD residents benefit from a small town atmosphere while still having all of the conveniences of a metropolitan area. Serving nearly 9,600 students, the PLSD is the fourth largest district in Nebraska, covering approximately 33 square miles of suburban areas. All of the PLSD elementary and secondary schools are fully accredited through the Nebraska Department of Education and the North Central Association.
