CARRIAGE HILL KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP
(For the Kindergarten Class of 2013-14)
Kindergarten Roundup will be held at Carriage Hill on Friday, April 12th from 9:00 -10:30 a.m. or 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Please call the school office at 402-898-0449 with information on your future kindergartner so we can include you on our mailing list. Parents of new kindergartners will be sent a reminder letter about the registration and information session for either the morning or afternoon time slot. Parents should bring their child’s certified birth certificate, shot record, and proof of residence (such as a re
ntal/purchase agreement or utility bill). You can get a copy of your child’s birth certificate, if needed, by writing the Bureau of Vital Statistics in the state of the child’s birth. All students must have a complete physical (or sign a Waiver of Physical form) and current vaccinations before school begins in the fall. All new kindergarten students must be five years of age by July 31, 2013. If you know of a neighbor who is of kindergarten age and might not have others in school, please share this information with them.
Snow Make Up Days Scheduled for May 23rd and 24th
With currently having missed four days of school due to inclement weather, it has been decided that two snow days will be made up to compensate for missed instructional time. The school year will now be extended through May 24. This will make May 22nd and May 23rd full days of school and May 24th, the last day of school, a half day. In an effort to protect vacation plans for both students and staff, there is no plan to utilize spring break to make up for snow days. May the sun keep shining!
